About the position
Our client, a well known electrical manufacturer is looking for a Winder Inspector to join their team in JHB North. Experience with Mine Winder Hoists electrical systems is essential.
Function:
Conduct Level One Audits and Dynamic Brake Tests on Mine Winder Hoists.
Tasks will include:
Travel to and from site as required (overtime, including weekend work as necessary)
Conduct Electrical and Control Audits
Conduct Dynamic Brake Tests
Record all results and recommendation on winder hoist condition
Presentation of test results to clients
Report writing
Possibilities to undergo training and acquire Rope Test Certification
Qualifications and Experience
Electrical Artisan Certificate with minimum N5 or T3 or equivalent in electrical engineering
Five (5) years post qualification and 3 years in maintenance and testing on Mine Winder Hoists electrical systems
Hydraulic experience will be an advantage
Strong in problem solving
Computer literacy (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Strong leadership and communication skills (English)
Mine Winder experience will be beneficial
Must have own reliable transport and driver’s license
