About the position
Our Client, a well-established transport and logistics company, is seeking a Training Officer to lead its Training Centre and drive the development, performance and compliance of professional truck drivers.
This role is ideal for a confident training professional who can engage effectively with drivers, manage Driver Trainers and deliver impactful training programmes within an operational environment.
The Role
- Manage the Training Centre and Driver Trainers
- Coordinate driver induction, refresher and development training
- Develop and present training material
- Conduct driver assessments and performance interventions
- Ensure compliance with TETA, SETA and internal standards
- Maintain training records, reporting and compliance documentation
Requirements
- Experience within transport, logistics, fleet or driver training environments
- Registered Assessor and Moderator
- Strong facilitation, coaching and presentation skills
- Experience developing training material
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport

- This role focuses on the training, assessment and development of professional truck drivers. Experience working within a transport or logistics environment is non-negotiable.
