What You'll Be Doing

• Shadow senior field technicians to learn complex diagnostic work procedures.
• Respond to client service requests for printer and copier repairs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on multifunction office automation equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults on hardware components.
• Replace defective parts, rollers, gears, and toner cartridges accurately.

Required Qualifications

• Possess a technical education background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Hold a Matric or equivalent technical school certificate qualification.
• Present a valid South African driver license for business travel.

Required Experience

• Show experience with basic electronic or mechanical hobby repair tasks.
• Demonstrate natural aptitude for troubleshooting technical and hardware problems logically.
• Show basic understanding of computer operating systems and network connectivity.
• Use standard hand tools and digital multimeters safely during repairs.
• Display strong desire to learn office automation technology software rapidly.
