TRACEABILITY CLERK at Rhodes Food Group

About the position

Introduction

Track/trace every item from picking phase until shipped to customers. Ensure every inventory movement is accounted for. This role will report to the Warehouse Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Trace manufacturing dates and lot numbers.
• Check that stock picked are correct whilst recording manufacturing dates.
• Ensure shelf-life requirements are adhered to for different customers.
• Liaise with warehouse operators, pickers, plants and supply chain co-ordinators wrt best before dates.
• Assist with cycle counts and stock takes.
• Assist with mock recalls.
• Assist with operational tasks within the warehouse.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Our ideal candidate must have:

• Matric.
• 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse environment.
• Proficient in MS Office packages such as Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of the Syspro System will be an advantage.
