About the position

Location: Centurion, Gauteng | Contract: Permanent | CTC Salary Package.

Join a national development finance institution dedicated to empowering South Africa's agriculture sector.

We're seeking an IT Support Technician to provide frontline desktop, hardware, software, network, and remote user support to internal teams across the organisation.

This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a service-oriented IT environment and can manage user expectations while resolving technical issues quickly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st line support on desktops, telephony, Microsoft 365, VPN, printing, applications, and network
  • Troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve IT issues logged via the Helpdesk
  • Install, configure, and maintain end-user hardware and software
  • Track and document movement of IT assets and access rights
  • Assist with performance optimisation and service improvement

Your Profile:

  • Matric + A+ and N+ certifications (PC maintenance certificate preferred)
  • 1-3 years' experience in a formal IT support environment
  • Microsoft 365 knowledge (Fundamentals or Admin cert a plus)
  • Experience supporting MS Teams, OneDrive, Exchange, and remote collaboration tools
  • Ability to communicate clearly, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain user satisfaction
