You're at ease underground, comfortable with travelling, and passionate about helping others understand and safely use specialised equipment. What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You'll be the go-to expert for on-site and off-site demonstrations of advanced mining equipment, including underground trials and hands-on training. You'll deliver accredited training sessions and competency assessments, ensuring operators and technicians are skilled and safe. Alongside showcasing equipment, you'll answer technical queries, provide troubleshooting support, and supervise short-term mining service contracts. Your insights will inform product development, and you'll represent the company at trade shows and industry events-constantly engaging with the sector and shaping solutions on the ground. What you'll need You must have a valid SETA or MQA-accredited Training & Assessment certification, along with Grade 12. Experience in underground mining-especially in roof support-is highly desirable, as is exposure to underground vehicle operations. Competent A and B certifications will be a plus. You'll need strong communication and problem-solving skills, computer literacy, and physical fitness to work underground. A valid driver's licence, passport, and readiness for extensive travel are essential.
