About the position
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with strong experience working within Enterprise Architecture teams and projects. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, and governance, as well as the ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that solutions are aligned to architectural standards, scalable, and strategically fit for purpose.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to shape and define architecture roadmaps and solution blueprints.
- Analyse and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and target state designs.
- Work with architects to evaluate solution options, considering technical feasibility, integration, and scalability.
- Define and document API integration strategies and interoperability requirements.
- Conduct impact assessments for proposed changes across systems, platforms, and domains.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise architecture frameworks and governance processes.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to capture requirements and translate them into architectural artefacts.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, and integration specifications.
- Partner with development teams, QA, and product owners to ensure delivery aligns with architectural intent.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within Enterprise Architecture environments.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and governance practices.
- Solid understanding of systems integration, API design, and interoperability patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, and modern software architecture approaches.
- Ability to interpret and document complex business requirements into clear technical specifications and architecture artefacts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in cross-functional technical projects, working with architects, engineers, and business leaders.
