An internationally recognised organisation with operations across multiple countries is seeking a Corporate Tax & Compliance Accountant to join its expanding finance team. This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong tax professional who enjoys navigating complex tax environments and wants exposure to both local and international compliance frameworks.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Tax Compliance & Reporting
  • Managing and reviewing VAT calculations, submissions, and reconciliations
  • Overseeing PAYE compliance and payroll tax-related requirements
  • Supporting Corporate Income Tax calculations and submissions
  • Preparing and reviewing tax schedules, supporting documentation, and reconciliations
  • Monitoring tax compliance deadlines across multiple entities
  • Ensuring compliance with evolving tax legislation and regulatory requirements
  • VAT & PAYE Specialist Duties
  • Reviewing VAT transactions and identifying potential risks or compliance issues
  • Managing VAT audits, queries, and SARS correspondence
  • Ensuring PAYE submissions are accurate and completed on time
  • Reconciling payroll-related tax accounts and investigating variances
  • Supporting internal stakeholders with VAT and payroll tax guidance
  • Statutory Compliance & Audit Support
  • Assisting with statutory reporting requirements
  • Preparing audit-ready tax files and supporting documentation
  • Liaising with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
  • Responding to audit queries and tax reviews
  • Supporting internal control and governance initiatives
  • Process Improvement & Risk Management
  • Identifying opportunities to improve tax processes and controls
  • Supporting automation and process enhancement initiatives
  • Ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance documentation
  • Assisting with tax risk management and compliance reviews

What We're Looking For

  • BCom Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related qualification
  • CTA, Honours, or Tax qualification advantageous
  • Professional Accountant (SA), or Tax qualification beneficial
  • Minimum 2–5 years' experience within a tax, compliance, or corporate finance environment
