About the position

Are you a seasoned Systems Engineer with strong experience in UNIX and Solaris environments and enterprise file transfer technologies? This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong professional who enjoys working in stable, business-critical systems within a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Solaris 11 operating systems 
  • Manage user accounts, roles and permissions to ensure appropriate access control 
  • Develop and execute backup and recovery plans for critical data and applications 
  • Analyze systems performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement 
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps 
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and integrations
