Sustainability Manager

About the position

As the Manager: Sustainability Programmes, you will be responsible for translating the organisation's sustainability strategy into actionable programmes that deliver real impact.

Your role will include:
Leading cross-functional sustainability initiatives and projects.
Driving stakeholder engagement with government, private sector, and international sustainability forums.
Building internal awareness and capability on ESG, climate risk, SDGs, and the Just Transition.
Developing and tracking partnerships, MOUs, and co-investment proposals to advance sustainability goals.

Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in one of the following (or a related field):

• Environmental Science
• Development Studies
• Social Sciences
• Public Policy
• Business Administration
• Agriculture

Minimum Experience
5 years' experience in sustainability, development, or related programme implementation roles (preferably within financial services, agriculture, or development sectors).
3 - 5 years' experience in:

• Coordinating multi-stakeholder sustainability initiatives, partnerships, or cross-functional projects.
• Facilitating internal awareness, learning programmes, or change management initiatives (ESG, SDGs, sustainability strategy).
• Exposure to sustainability-related reporting, communications, or strategic planning.
