Supply Chain Manager

About the position

A well-established manufacturing business with a strong reputation for quality and reliability is seeking a high-impact Supply Chain Manager or an Operations Manager with strong Supply Chain experience.

This role offers a clear development path into an operations Manager position for the right individual.

The role Reports directly to the General Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and integrate Supply Chain and Operational functions to drive efficiency and performance
• Oversee and collaborate with the Inventory HOD, Manufacturing HOD, and Quality HOD
• Ensure effective planning, procurement, inventory control, production flow, and quality standards
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement efficiencies that positively impact the bottom line
• Monitor operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Work closely with senior management to support strategic and operational objectives

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations management
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams within a manufacturing environment
• Relevant Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain or operations management will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities
• Commercially minded, with the ability to add value beyond day-to-day operations
• Hands-on leadership style with strong communication skills
