About the position

Location: Centurion, Gauteng | Contract: Permanent | Annual Salary: Competitive Total Cost to Company Package

A leading state-owned specialist finance institution-dedicated to transforming and funding South Africa's commercial and emerging agriculture sector - is seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Head of Supply Chain Management. with deep procurement expertise and the strategic edge to lead end-to-end supply chain operations.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage the full procurement and contract management value chain
  • Ensure compliance with PFMA, Treasury regulations, and internal governance
  • Oversee supplier development, SCM policy, performance management, and audits
  • Guide procurement planning, bid committees, and strategic sourcing
  • Collaborate with internal business units and external stakeholders

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or relevant field
  • MCIPS qualification (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) - Essential
  • 10+ years' public sector supply chain experience, with at least 7 - 10 years in senior management
  • Strong working knowledge of PFMA, PPPFA, B-BBEE, and Treasury regulations
  • Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and contract negotiation skills
