About the position

Introduction

The Supply Chain Analyst must provide the Supply Chain function with meaningful supply chain information and analysis in support of a continuous improving and sustained competitive supply chain.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Information Systems

• Build and Maintain reports providing insight into visibility of Supply Chain Metrics, distributed daily, weekly, monthly and on request.
• Acquire/Develop/Maintain relevant systems/programs required for SC Info Systems ie Power BI/COGNOS/Excel/TMS
• Maintain various matrices (pricing/volume etc.) required by users within the Supply Chain function.

Supply Chain Analysis

• Conduct analysis pro-actively and/or on request from users in support of optimal supply chain solutions.

Continuous Improvement Programs

• Initiative, Design and Drive Supply Chain continuous improvement plans/roadmaps with both Internal and External Customers

Supply Chain Graduates

• Serve as custodian of the graduate program specific to Supply Chain graduates.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Our ideal candidate must have:

• B.Eng. (Industrial)
• 3 - 5 years' experience in a FMCG environment.

Other attributes would include:

• Excellent communicator and collaborator
• Action orientated/ sense of urgency
• Attention to detail, critical thinker and analytical (data driven)
• Superior MS Excel Skills
• Good skills in Reporting Software such as Power BI
