Store Manager

About the position

A premium retail fashion and lifestyle brand is looking for a confident, high-energy and sales-driven Store Manager to lead one of its retail stores. This role is suited to a hands-on retail leader who can drive sales, manage daily store operations, motivate a team, maintain high store standards and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate will be ambitious, accountable, mature, energetic and action-orientated, with a proven ability to lead by example in a retail sales environment.

There are 3 positions, one in each of the following locations Cresta, Mall of Africa and Morning side.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily store operations to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Drive store sales and implement strategies to meet sales and performance targets.
• Lead, motivate and support team members to create a positive and high-performance working environment.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure required stock is available.
• Maintain store standards, visual presentation and operational discipline.
• Ensure excellent customer service and a premium in-store experience.
• Take ownership of store performance, team accountability and daily store execution.
• Support process compliance, reporting and general store administration.
• Lead by example with a "do whatever it takes" approach.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' retail management experience.
• Proven track record of achieving sales results.
• Strong sales ability is essential.
• Experience in fashion, lifestyle, footwear, accessories, premium retail or customer-facing retail environments would be advantageous.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to work retail / mall trading hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Strong operational, stock and process management ability.

The ideal candidate will be someone that is adaptable, learns fast and takes direction well as well as someone that is confident, ambitious, honest, energetic and accountable.

Hours is Mon- Sun retail hours with 1 weekday and 1 weekend a month off
