About the position

Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience as an industrial or manufacturing spray painter
- Experience spraying metal equipment, machinery, or specialised components
- Knowledge of spray-painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing processes
- Ability to work with different types of paints, coatings, and spray equipment
- Good understanding of workplace safety standards and procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming
• Spray paint specialised equipment and components according to specifications
• Ensure quality finishes and consistency in workmanship
• Maintain spray-painting equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition
• Conduct inspections on completed work to ensure quality standards are met
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements within the plant environment

Advantageous:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Knowledge of industrial coatings and finishing techniques
