About the position
ENERGY ? ELECTRICITY GENERATION AND DISTRIBUTION
SPECIALIST ENGINEERING ARTISAN: HIGH VOLTAGE - SUBSTATIONS

BASIC SALARY: R470 767 PER ANNUM ? REF NO: NRG 88/25
Requirements:
- Electrical Trade certificate
- Three (3) to five (5) years' post trade test experience in an HV environment
- Code B driver's licence
- ORHVS high voltage operator.
Key performance areas:
- Planning and Maintenance: Coordinate and perform activities and sequences associated within the electrical functional area
- Coordinate and perform activities and sequences associated with trouble shooting/ fault finding and repairing
- Coordinate and perform activities and sequences associated within the electrical functional area by establishing site ready for installation. Arrange plant and equipment in their correct locations etc.
- Interpret, coordinate and perform specific pre-work/ site requirements regarding repairs and, planned and predictive maintenance sequences and guides the activities of personnel
- Capture internal transactional documentation for processing e.g. completing time sheets, log sheets, vehicle checklist etc.
