About the position

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Agent to join a major construction project in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site operations, managing project delivery, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all day-to-day site operations from commencement to completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
• Monitor project progress against programme and budget
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standard
• Maintain accurate site records and prepare regular progress reports
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Resolve site-related issues and ensure project milestones are achieved
• Manage construction programmes using MS Project

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Site Agent within the construction industry
• Proven ability to independently manage construction projects
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Proficiency in MS Project
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines
