About the position
Are you a seasoned engineer with the grit, expertise, and leadership to drive high-stakes industrial projects?
Our client based in Rustenburg, is urgently seeking an experienced SIB Project Manager to take the lead on long-term capital and Stay-In-Business projects within a demanding smelter environment. This is a high-impact, site-based role suited to a hands-on professional who thrives in complex operations, brings deep engineering know-how, and delivers with precision under pressure.
Requirements:
- ?Qualified Engineer - GCC preferred. With at least 8 to 10 years working experience - not a recently qualified person
- ?Electrical Engineer preferred but will consider mechanical with lots of electrical experience
- ?PMP or PPM preferred but will also consider someone with capital project experience working towards a qualification
- ?Knowledge of smelters will be an added benefit
- ?Knowledge of Stay in Business projects will be an added benefit
- ?NEC contract management knowledge is and added benefit
- ?Certificate of fitness is a requirement - No Asthma related illnesses
- ?Experience with shut related planning will be an added benefit
