About the position
Our client is seeking Shift Operations Supervisors to oversee operational activities related to receiving, quality testing, and dispatching of aviation fuel. This role is critical in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient shift operations at high-volume petroleum storage depots.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise shift operations including receiving, quality testing, product storage, and fuel dispatch.
- Ensure adherence to aviation fuel quality standards and operational procedures.
- Conduct shift handovers, reporting, and incident logging.
- Implement OHS requirements including permit-to-work systems, safety meetings, and risk assessments.
- Lead and coach operational teams to achieve productivity, safety, and quality targets.
- Support operational readiness, compliance, and emergency response protocols.
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience supervising petroleum depot operations (receiving, testing, dispatching).
- 2+ years' experience in OHS, including safety inductions, permit-to-work, risk assessments, and inspections.
- Strong understanding of aviation fuel operations and quality control processes.
- Ability to work shifts and respond to operational requirements.
