About the position
To lead and execute testing activities of medium to high complexity, ensuring the quality and successful implementation of business solutions. This includes planning, executing, and maintaining tests (functional, non-functional, regression, and disaster recovery) and working closely with cross-functional teams to support delivery.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Translate business and functional requirements into detailed test plans and test cases.
- Coordinate and perform test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Manage test data and environments to support accurate results.
- Conduct system, integration, and regression testing for new features, enhancements, and defect fixes.
- Log, track, and re-test defects using appropriate tools.
- Support continuous improvement in testing practices, documentation, and quality standards.
- Provide feedback to stakeholders and ensure timely reporting of test progress, risks, and results.
- Contribute to test closure activities, including handovers, documentation, and retrospectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in IT or related field (essential)
- ISTQB/ISEB Certification (essential)
- ISTQB Advanced Level Certification (advantageous)
- 4+ years of experience in testing (manual and automated) in an Agile environment
- Strong skills in SQL, functional/system/regression testing, and defect tracking
- Experience with API testing and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, Robot Framework) (advantageous)
