About the position

DBN000219 – Senior Softs Merchandiser – Durban North

Purpose of the Job:


Develops and sources products that meet customer needs and drives growth through trends and strong supplier relationships.
 

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualification in Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years’ experience in a senior merchandising role in retail, wholesale, or import.
  • Knowledge of soft furnishings and textiles.
  • Understanding of retail and wholesale supply chain operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage softs product ranges using market trends and sales insights.
  • Source products that meet quality, price, and delivery requirements.
  • Monitor inventory and manage orders to ensure stock availability.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Review product performance and maintain compliance with company policies.
