1. POSITION DETAIL
Current Job: Title SNR Packaging Consultant (Durban)
Department Sales & Marketing
Purpose Statement
The purpose of this position is to service and develop an allocated/ existing customer base through building relationships with clients. This is done by delivering high levels of service and prompt responses to problems and queries. Additionally, this role is required to develop new business with existing customers and pursue new customers and opportunities.
2. POSITION DESCRIPTION
Main Outputs and Responsibilities for this Position

1. Develop Customer Relationships/ Knowledge
- Identify and meet new and existing customers to establish needs.
- Implement relationship techniques to ensure customers and contractors are
secure. - Market the Bowler value proposition
2. Service Delivery - Ensure a high level of customer service.
- Provide customers with knowledge of Bowler's offerings in products as well as
solutions. - Predict customer job problems and needs (opportunities for Bowler) and
implement appropriate measures. - Handle customer complaints/ queries in line with Bowler policy
- Facilitate the flow of customer projects.
3. Administration and Reports - Complete administration and reports as required, including but not limited to the
following:
o Daily log-in of client meetings
o Weekly Log Sheet
o Quote submissions and follow-up
o Weekly estimates
o CCR logging and follow-up
o Back-order review and customer stock control
o Budget (done once a year)
o Pre-production and Rough Orders
o Reports as requested from time to time.

actions to address weaknesses. - Developing knowledge and skills in relevant areas as required by the

3. JOB EVALUATION CRITERIA
A) Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) or National Diploma or
similar analytical and commercial qualifications specifically
prioritising consumerism, business and retail
understanding.
Experience - Exposure to sales within a B2B environment.
- Data extraction, Data Analysis and Data Evaluation skills and experience will be advantageous.
- Understanding of consumers and packaging in the
Plastic Industry. - Business operating fundamentals and practical
knowledge
