Job Description
As a Senior Networking Engineer, you will be a key player in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network infrastructures for the company clients. You will work closely with the companies technical teams and clients to ensure optimal network performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage complex network solutions including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Lead network infrastructure projects from planning through implementation and support.
- Optimize firewalls, routers, switches and other network infrastructure components for maximum security across various client setups
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce network security policies and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues across multiple client environments.
- Analyse network traffic to detect suspicious behavior and prevent unauthorized access for managed client environments
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering, preferably within an MSP environment.
- Expert knowledge of Cisco, Aruba, or other major networking hardware and software.
- Proficiency with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCNA; or equivalent
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, clients, and presenting findings
