Senior Manager at Capital Efficiency Group - CEG

About the position

As the CEG Senior Manager, you will be a key representative of our brand in the Western Cape, responsible for servicing a diverse portfolio of clients. This is a permanent, senior position reporting directly to the Group CEO and COO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Core Services: Oversight of compilation and review of annual financial statements (AFS), client tax affairs, and corporate finance activities.
• Business Growth: Marketing CEG services to potential new clients and identifying opportunities for our specialized divisions (Forex, Wealth Management, and Corporate Finance).
• Client & Project Management: Providing tailored commercial and financial solutions through frequent client liaison and project management assistance.
• Team Collaboration: Briefing back-office support staff in Durban and working closely with Group divisional heads.
• Travel: Regular travel to our Durban headquarters will be required

Requirements & Qualifications:

Seeking a Chartered Accountant who is a self-starter and possesses strong leadership capabilities.

• Accreditation: Minimum CA(SA).
• Current Experience: Currently operating as a Manager, Senior Manager, or Partner within a mid-size accounting practice.
• Technical Skills: Strong tax skills and proficiency in CaseWare and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience: Proven track record in managing staff, client accounts, and AFS compilations/reviews.
• Bonus: Experience in due diligence and corporate finance services is a distinct advantage.
• Logistics: Must possess a valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
