Senior Interior Designer, Creative Excellence in Corporate

Key Responsibilities
- Concept to Creation: Take client briefs, translate them into innovative design concepts, sketch proposals, and deliver impactful client presentations.
- Design Development: Create designs that align with briefs, budgets, and regulationsproducing detailed technical, construction, and council documentation.
- Supplier & Site Liaison: Source quality materials at competitive prices, brief contractors, conduct site inspections, and complete snag lists.
- Project Collaboration: Partner with project managers to ensure seamless handovers and project delivery.
- Mentorship: Coach and guide junior designers and technicians, fostering growth and excellence.
- Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador, nurturing professional relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required
- Relevant Interior Design qualification.
- 5-7 years of experience in corporate interior design and space planning.
- Proficiency in Revit, BIM workflows, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva.
- Strong conceptual and 3D thinking abilities, with practical application.
- In-depth understanding of construction methods.
- Extensive knowledge of local suppliers and awareness of current design trends in South Africa.
- Skilled in taking accurate and comprehensive briefs.
- Methodical, detail-oriented, and highly organised.
- Excellent numerical skills for budget management.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and adaptability.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with solid business acumen.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite.
