What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
The opportunity will see you researching listed companies across global markets, building robust valuation models and identifying compelling investment opportunities. You'll analyse financial statements, monitor macroeconomic and sector trends, contribute to portfolio strategy and present your findings to investment committees. Reporting, performance analysis and engaging with company management and external research providers will form part of your role. You'll enjoy this because your insights will directly influence investment decisions while offering meaningful exposure to portfolio management and long-term wealth creation.

What you'll need
A degree in Finance, Investment Management, Economics or Accounting, together with 5 years' experience in global investment research or financial analysis, is essential. Strong financial modelling and equity valuation skills are required, while progress towards the CFA qualification is also needed. Confidence using Excel and investment data platforms, excellent report-writing ability and a keen commercial mindset will set you up for success. Only candidates currently residing in Cape Town can be considered.
