About the position
- BSc / BTech in Electrical Engineering
- 10 years project experience in the Mining Industry.
- Proven experience in site-based project work and commissioning.
- Extensive knowledge of ISO/IEC standards and their application within engineering practices.
- Professional registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technologist/Engineer (or actively in the process of registration).
- Strong technical problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
To play a critical role in delivering high-quality control and instrumentation (C&I) solutions across all project stages.
Will be responsible for technical design, project execution, and interfacing with clients and consortium partners.
To have a strong understanding of engineering processes, compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, and the ability to deliver within defined timeframes and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver control and instrumentation engineering outputs, ensuring all project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Take full technical responsibility for the C&I scope, whether managed internally or through consortium partners, ensuring technical suitability and functionality.
