About the position
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Lead) with strong process modelling and finance domain expertise to support a large-scale transformation programme.
This role is business-focused (not SAP configuration) and will lead a small team of BAs while remaining hands-on in analysis, stakeholder engagement, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Delivery
Lead and mentor a small team of Business Analysts on the programme
Define and drive the BA approach, standards, and delivery plan
Ensure quality and consistency across BA outputs
Business Analysis
Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements sessions
Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements (BRDs, user stories, process flows)
Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for delivery teams
Process & Transformation
Document and analyse as-is and to-be business processes
Conduct gap analysis and identify process improvement opportunities
Support business process optimisation aligned to transformation objectives
Testing, Training & Support
Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Support business readiness, including training and documentation
Provide post-implementation support and issue resolution
Required Experience & Skills
8+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
Proven experience in a Lead BA / Senior BA role
Strong process modelling and process improvement capability
Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes
Solid experience in both Agile and Waterfall environments
Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
Domain & Systems Experience
Finance (Essential)
Strong understanding of finance processes and reporting
SAP Exposure (Business-Focused)
Hands-on experience working with SAP FI/CO in a business analysis capacity
Understanding of finance data, processes, and integration within SAP
Desirable: Exposure to SAP MM and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
