About the position
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to lead business and system analysis activities, specializing in aligning technology solutions to business needs. This role will focus on translating complex functional and non-functional business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise and solution architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex business analysis efforts to determine business system requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagements to elicit and document requirements.
- Define, document, and communicate innovative business solutions using IT, including user journeys, user stories, process diagrams, data models, business rules, and mockups.
- Ensure solutions align with business and system architecture in collaboration with architects and technical designers.
- Support solution design discussions and assist technical teams in understanding business requirements.
- Participate in testing technical solutions, processes, and calculations, and sign off on test cases for functional, integration, and non-functional testing.
- Analyze system trends, identify recurring issues, and propose sustainable solutions.
- Support training, change management, and user adoption initiatives.
- Ensure consistent service delivery to internal and external clients.
Requirements:
- BCom Informatics or BSc Degree (Diploma in Business Analysis preferred).
- 10+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 3 years in the investment environment.
- Minimum 6 years’ IT experience with integrated solutions.
- Strong experience in API-centric architectures and system integration projects.
- Agile experience preferred.

- Ability to document processes using various tools.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong investigative and information-gathering skills.
- Ability to work independently under pressure while maintaining strong relationships.
- Alignment of solutions to IIBA standards and practices.
Technical Competencies:
- Ability to create low-fidelity UX mockups and basic UML diagrams.
- Experience with Postman, SoapUI, Mongo, and Swagger.
- Comfortable with SQL and data queries.
- Proficiency in workflow and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, and Miro.
