About the position
Well-Established, International, Freight Forwarding Group, headquartered in Italy, is seeking a Senior Accountant for its South African Operations. This Position requires a hands-on Professional who is comfortable managing both detailed reporting to Italy and day-to-day accounting tasks such as daily forex and local treasury duties, reconciliations and journals. Experience with Customs VAT and a solid background in Freight forwarding or Logistics is essential. The Group has a wide Multinational Company Network so experience with Transfer Pricing and Complex Intercompany recons is a must. This is a dynamic, fast-paced Role suited to an Accountant who enjoys a highly automated, high volume, busy Environment, You must also be able to communicate at all Operational levels as you interact with them daily.
