About the position
My client based in Cape Town is currently looking for a Scrum Master to join them in on a permanent role.

Responsibilities
- Apply Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions
- Coach and guide teams on effectively applying Agile methodologies
- Manage operational activities, including tasks, issues, and action items within the development team
- Oversee delivery of change through Agile Scrum processes
- Provide support to product owners and development teams to achieve customer satisfaction
- Ensure the proper use of collaborative processes and remove impediments for the team
- Schedule and facilitate Scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes
- Develop and maintain detailed plans to track progress and provide feedback to stakeholders
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
- Perform risk management, address risks, and escalate issues where necessary
- Handle multiple projects concurrently, showcasing strong multitasking skills
- Act as liaison for stakeholders, taking responsibility for relationship management and delivery
- Identify and escalate business-related concerns, including potential opportunities
Experience
- Solid experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment (SDLC)
- Proven track record working in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Strong background in Project Management within IT/software delivery
- Hands-on experience using task management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps)
- Demonstrated success in delivering business projects through collaboration and stakeholder engagement
