About the position
We are seeking a Sales Support Coordinator to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders.
The position covers the full sales cycle, from processing customer orders and managing logistics to handling client engagement and support.
The successful candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and equipped with strong communication skills, with a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
You should be able to multitask effectively under pressure, respond quickly, and work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Minimum requirements:
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in sales support, order processing, or administrative coordination.
- National Diploma Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Preferably, formerly from a multinational or global company supplying industrial equipment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (data manipulation and reporting).

Duties and responsibilities:
- Process customer sales orders accurately and timeously.
- Track and communicate the status of customer orders with internal departments and clients.
- Update delivery dates on CRM.
- Handle incoming customer queries with professionalism and urgency.
- Coordinate customer onboarding and ensure all documentation is complete.
- Ensure compliance with EUC and Export Control requirements.
- Ensure customers receive the best quality and professional service.
- Work closely with finance to support invoicing, credit notes, and reconciliations.
- Align with finance on payment terms and credit limits.
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
- Assist with stock availability checks and maintain accurate forecasting records.
- Manage export and cross-trade to other African countries, with knowledge of incoterms.
- Track backorders and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate stock movements to customers with the warehouse and branches.
- Prepare invoicing projections and forecast reports.
- Compile reports for management and perform other administrative duties.
- Provide accurate and constant feedback to management.
- Build and maintain good relationships with customers.
