Sales Representative

About the position

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric 
• 5 Years sales experience in trailer manufacturing 
• Proven track record of meeting targets 
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills 
• Excellent time-management skills
• Valid drivers license
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English 

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and pursue potential clients within the assigned region drive sales growth
• Qualify inbound leads and actively generate new prospects through outbound efforts, including cold calling, networking and leveraging referrals
• Deliver compelling presentations that showcase product or service features and benefits tailored to client needs
• Foster and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to promote customer satisfaction 
• Negotiate pricing, terms and agreements 
• Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and potential risks
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prepare regular reports for management review
• Address client inquiries and resolve complaints promptly
• Coordinate with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with overall business strategies and product updates
• Ensure all sales practices adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations
• Willingness to work outside of regular business hours as required
• Open to short-term business travel to neighboring countries and international regions
