About the position
Our clients are seeking a reliable, motivated individual to join their team as a Sales Representative & Delivery Driver. This role combines customer service, sales growth, and efficient delivery of our products. The ideal candidate is energetic, trustworthy, and customer-focused, with a strong ability to build relationships and drive repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Growth
- Identify and acquire new clients
- Promote products
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
- Upsell additional products such as product rentals and higher-volume packages
- Meet weekly and monthly sales targets
Delivery & Operations
- Deliver products and equipment safely and on time
- Load and offload stock
- Ensure accurate order fulfilment and invoicing
- Collect payments where required (cash/card/EFT confirmations)
- Maintain delivery schedules and routes efficiently
Customer Service
- Provide a friendly and professional experience at every delivery
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly
- Act as the face of the company in the field
Vehicle & Stock Management
- Ensure the company vehicle is clean and well-maintained
- Track stock levels and report shortages
- Follow all safety and driving regulations
Minimum Requirements
- Valid South African driver’s license (Code B or higher)
- Proven sales experience (preferred but not essential)
- Well-spoken with strong sales ability
- High energy, persistent, self-motivated, proactive, and professional
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically fit (able to lift heavy equipment regularly)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills
Advantageous
- Experience in FMCG, delivery, or other sales
- Knowledge of Prospecton and surrounding areas
- Existing client network (businesses, offices, gyms, etc.)
Remuneration
- Basic salary (market-related)
- Commission on new sales
- Incentives based on performance
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays as required)
- Delivery routes typically scheduled weekly
