About the position

Sales Executive (Private Sector)
We are searching for a driven, results-oriented Sales Executive to generate new business, convert qualified leads, and support revenue growth through effective client engagement and relationship building.

Purpose of the Job: The Sales Executive is responsible for finding and converting qualified leads into revenue-generating clients, managing client onboarding, and growing assigned accounts. The role focuses on executing the sales process efficiently, maintaining a strong pipeline, meeting sales targets, and supporting the company's objective of increasing private sector revenue.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Revenue Growth, Business Development & Pipeline Management

  • Convert qualified leads into new business opportunities
  • Build and manage a pipeline through CRM (Saleboat)
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and proposals
  • Drive consistent deal conversion and revenue generation

Client Relationship Management & Retention

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients
  • Conduct regular client engagements to identify growth opportunities
  • Support resolution of client issues and ensure service alignment
  • Support client retention through proactive engagement

Reporting & Marketing Alignment

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM
  • Prepare weekly sales reports and pipeline updates
  • Track personal performance against targets

Sales Process, Compliance & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Ensure adherence to all sales processes and SOPs
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure service delivery meets client requirements
  • Ensure smooth client onboarding and internal alignment with all stakeholders

Minimum requirements:

  • 4-6 years external sales experience (courier/logistics industry advantageous)
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in business development and client engagement
  • Diploma/Degree in Business, or related field
  • Fully computer literate (Microsoft Office, CRM systems)
  • Valid driver's license is essential
  • Clear credit and criminal record

***Salary - R24,000.00 + Car allowance of R6,500.00 (only if the car is not older than 5 years) + Commission + Company Cell Phone (Negotiable, based on skills, experience and in relation to current package)
