We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Executive to drive sales and market penetration for our cutting-edge suite of vehicle video telematics and fleet management solutions. This role is ideal for a hunter-type salesperson who can build strong relationships with fleet owners and managers, demonstrating the tangible benefits of our products.

The Role

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities with fleet owners across various industries. Your primary focus will be on showcasing how our solutions enhance safety, improve driver behavior, reduce operational costs, and mitigate risk for fleets of all sizes.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Generating new leads and building a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
  • Conducting compelling product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Crafting and negotiating proposals and contracts to secure new business.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and foster repeat business.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and competitor activity.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the transport, logistics, and security sectors. Your experience and network within these industries are the most critical criteria for this role.
Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in a direct sales role, specifically selling security systems, vehicle telematics, or related automotive products.
  • Extensive exposure to and a strong network of contacts with fleet managers and fleet owners is essential.
  • A proven history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • A high degree of self-motivation, discipline, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.

  • A competitive basic salary of up to R20,000 per month.
  • A generous, uncapped commission structure with on-target earnings (OTE) of up to R40,000 per month.
