About the position
Role Summary:
The Client is seeking a high-performing SaaS Sales Consultant to join a fully remote sales team. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling the Client's SaaS solutions into targeted B2B markets, particularly within construction, supply chain, and materials-driven environments.
The successful candidate will manage the full sales lifecycle - from lead generation through to close - and will be comfortable engaging senior decision-makers in technically and commercially complex sales conversations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Identify, qualify, and engage prospects through outbound prospecting (cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach) and inbound enquiries
- Conduct tailored product demonstrations aligned to the needs of decision-makers within construction, operations, and supply chain environments
- Own and manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to contract negotiation and close
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
Customer Engagement:
- Build strong, consultative relationships with prospects and customers
- Understand customer challenges and position the Client's solution as the optimal commercial and operational platform
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Customer Success teams to nurture leads and improve conversion rates
- Respond to customer enquiries with professionalism, urgency, and solution-oriented thinking
Sales Enablement & Market Feedback:
- Provide regular feedback to Product and Marketing teams on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
- Stay informed on product enhancements, industry developments, and competitive positioning
Reporting & Collaboration:
- Report weekly on pipeline health, opportunities, risks, and forecast accuracy
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and effectively delivered
Qualifications & Experience:
Requirements:
- Experience in construction, development,
- 3-5 years' experience closing B2B SaaS deals within mid-market or enterprise environments (Advantageous)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a technology-driven sales role
- Strong understanding of CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation tools
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote, performance-driven environment
Desirable Experience:
- Exposure to construction, supply chain, operations, or adjacent industries
- Experience selling ERP systems, integrations, or complex SaaS platforms
- Strong consultative selling capability across longer or multi-stakeholder deal cycles
- Familiarity with e-commerce or procurement software solutions
Performance Metrics:
- Monthly and quarterly new business revenue
- Pipeline generation and lead-to-opportunity conversion rates
- Demo-to-close ratios
- Customer retention, expansion, and upsell performance

*** Salary - R360,000 - R480,000 Gross Base Salary + commission (OTE) earnings (Negotiable based on skills, experience and in relation to current package)
