About the position
Description
- Asist in the implementation of the monitoring plan
- Perform firm level reviews
- Communicate with directors and process owners
- Identify deficiencies in the firm's system of quality management, evaluating such deficiencies and communicating identified deficiencies to relevant personnel
- Write review reports to be presented to directors and the Quality Risk Management Committee (QRMC)
- Present reports and answer any questions at QRMC
- Assist with the development and facilitating of training on deficiencies
- Perform ad-hoc reviews / investigations requested from exco / QRMC
- Build strong relationships with internal clients and QRMC members.
- Execute risk-related initiatives and ensure local alignment of global risk and quality policies.
- Assist with back office functions on the firm's engagement management system.
- Assist with the opening, archiving and recording of engagement and project management files
- Monthly reporting on archiving and usage to MANCO.
Experience/ Skills
- 2years + years in risk management, audit, or risk consulting within professional services.
- Detail oriented - methodical, and quality-focused
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written, with strong presentation abilities
- Analytical mindset - proficient in data analysis, trend monitoring, and reporting.
- Organised and capable of managing deadlines and multiple reviews
- Client service mindset and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Leadership capabilities - mentorship, training facilitation, and team guidance.
- Knowledgeable about regulatory requirements, compliance, and audit standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
- Advanced certifications (e.g., CIMA) are strongly preferred.
