You're a solution-driven engineer with a passion for renewable energy and a knack for turning complex data into practical, real-world designs. You're equally comfortable behind CAD software and collaborating with teams to bring proposals to life. Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to the transition toward sustainable energy, you're now looking for your next opportunity to make an impact.
You'll be creating and refining solar PV system designs for commercial and industrial installations, supporting both the sales and technical teams with layouts, drawings, and proposal documents. Your day-to-day will involve PV simulations, CAD drafting, technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with electrical and renewable energy standards. You'll enjoy the hands-on involvement across the project lifecycle, knowing that your work directly contributes to clean energy delivery.
You'll be joining a well-established renewable energy company specialising in end-to-end solar PV solutions for commercial and industrial clients. An Electrical Engineering qualification (N-Dip, BTech or BEng) is essential, alongside experience with AutoCAD (or similar) and PV design tools such as Helioscope, PVsyst, or PVSol. You'll bring experience from the electrical or renewable energy sectors, and you must be South African, based in Gauteng, and hold a valid driver's licence and passport.
