About the Role
Charisma Healthcare Solutions is seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses (ENs) with ICU exposure and Registered Nurses (RNs) with ICU competency to undertake temporary, flexible shifts at a reputable private hospital in Rustenburg. This role is ideal for nurses who value flexibility, enjoy diverse clinical environments, and are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care within an Intensive Care Unit setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients within the ICU.
- Assist with monitoring vital signs, administering medication (within scope), and supporting clinical procedures as directed by the RN and ICU team.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and professional nursing regulations.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and assist with rapid interventions.
- Uphold the professional standards and values of Charisma Healthcare Solutions while on assignment.
Minimum Requirements - Enrolled Nurse (ICU)
- Current SANC registration as an Enrolled Nurse (EN).
- Minimum 1 year ICU or High Care experience in a hospital environment.
- Proof of completed Enrolled Nurse auxiliary qualifications recognised by SANC.
- Recent experience in caring for ventilated and high-acuity patients (advantageous).
- Updated BLS (Basic Life Support) certificate.
- Clear criminal record and updated vaccination records.
- Ability to work flexible hours (days, nights, weekends).
- Professional, reliable, adaptable, and able to integrate quickly into new clinical teams.
Minimum Requirements - Registered Nurse (ICU)

- Current SANC registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience in a private or public hospital.
- ICU qualification or certificate is advantageous (but not always mandatory depending on experience).
- Strong clinical assessment and ventilator management skills.
- Updated BLS and/or ACLS certificates.
- Clear criminal record and complete vaccination records.
- Ability to work independently and manage high-acuity, critically ill patients.
- Availability for day, night, and weekend shifts on a temporary / hourly basis.
