REGIONAL SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER at Rhodes Food Group

About the position

Introduction

Based in the Western Cape, you will be responsible for managing the entire Operations of the RFG Foods Frozen - Retail Cabinet Range for the Western- and Eastern Cape. Weekly planning & constructing of sales and store plans. Conducting weekly sales reports to drive with the Sales and Merchandising Partner. Scheduling and conducting daily trade visits and Monthly meetings with the Agency Teams. Responsible for all platforms of admin and communication, towards direct superior and sales partners. Building of strong relationships with Store Trade Partners, Sales & Merchandising Partners, and Internal Business functions. Conducting all Trade Shows & sampling as per Trade Banners, as well as Marketing support from time to time.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Implementing, monitoring and maintaining the correct standards through the Sales & Merchandising Partner
• Drive sales growth VS Budget targets with sales & merchandising Partners
• Planning and communicating Monthly Store plans with Sales & Merchandising Partners
• Maintaining shelf health with front and back up at Store level, with regular store visits
• Cross communication via all platforms, daily addressing opportunities, gaps
• Daily analysing of opposition activity
• Conducting Monthly price surveys
• Conducting regular meetings with Agency Teams

Desired Experience & Qualification

Our ideal candidate must have:

• Relevant Tertiary qualification in Management.
• Minimum of 3 Years experience in sales operations or a related role in FMCG.
• Experience in Sales Management.
• Ability to integrate with different functions in the business.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excel Skills (intermediate) / Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, is preferred.
