About the position
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analytics Consultant to join the Global Markets Portfolio team. This role is critical in ensuring that the organisation’s global trading strategies are effective, data?driven, and aligned with broader business objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing complex trading functionality, supporting integration initiatives, and driving quantitative excellence across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and document non?linear trading functionality and its application within the business, collaborating closely with cross?functional teams.
- Evaluate the financial costs of risk and uncertainty, utilising advanced quantitative and statistical methods.
- Lead solution design for future trading integration requirements through existing APIs and backend systems.
- Act as a primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and execution of in?flight projects.
- Provide expert support and training to internal teams and platform clients, ensuring efficient adoption and usage.
- Conduct regular product reviews and enhancements to ensure continued alignment with evolving market demands.
Qualifications
Candidates may hold one or more of the following qualifications:
- BSc in Mathematical Sciences (Computational Science)
- BSc in Financial Engineering
- BSc in Actuarial Science and Financial Mathematics
- BEng in Mechatronics
- CQF – Certificate in Quantitative Finance
- ACI Dealing Certificate
Experience & Skills Requirements Technical & Quantitative Expertise
- Advanced knowledge of trading applications, such as Front Arena, Murex, or Calypso.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, C++, SQL, VBA, R, Matlab, or Golang.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including system analysis, quantitative modelling, and the ability to interpret and solve complex data problems.

- Proven project management experience, including end?to?end design, execution, and validation of technical and business requirements.
