A) Knowledge and Skills
Secondary Education Matric
Tertiary Education (including Diplomas, Certificates and Degrees)
NQF 4 Supervisory Management Qualification Certificate in Quality Control
Experience Minimum 8 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry
B) Competencies
Knowledge Skills
Technical knowledge of process, inclusive of equipment, raw materials, etc. Relevant quality system and certification as required
People Management Skills Administration Skills Problem – solving skills Attention to detail
Other Special Requirements

C) Decision Making
Responsible for quality related issues linked to colour and product defects. Able to suspend employees where either employee behaviour or intoxication poses a risk to colleagues and or equipment. Able to make good business – aligned judgement decisions at an operational level
D) Accountability
Responsible for all activities linked to position as defined. Ensures that the structure for escalation of responsibility is effective.
E) Communication
Report on appropriate forum issues requiring action / action from other departments / instances of major downtime. Shift handovers are conducted daily.
