About the position
Purpose of the Job The Project Implementation Officer will provide essential administrative, coordination, and implementation support to the Project Implementation Lead in the rollout of our education-based programs and events Key Responsibilities Project Support & Coordination: Assist with detailed planning and scheduling of program activities. Proactively follow up on deliverables and flag any deviations from project metrics to management in a timely manner. Liaise with suppliers, schools, and service providers for logistics such as bookings and transport. Provide on-site support during program rollouts and events. Administration & Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts and correspondence. Maintain reporting routines and compile project progress tracking documents, reports, and presentations. Support monitoring and evaluation processes by collecting feedback and data on attendance and engagement. Onboard service providers and ensure contracts and Service Level Agreements are in place and up-to-date. Client & Stakeholder Interface: Support the Implementation Lead in managing relationships with schools, sponsors, and partners. Draft and disseminate communication and reports to key stakeholders as required. Attend client meetings, document deliverables, and ensure follow-through on action items when needed. Risk, Reporting & Impact Measurement: Proactively identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies. Monitor and track project issues, escalating them when necessary to maintain project objectives. Help compile data and metrics to support reporting to sponsors and funders, and contribute to the creation of impact assessments and lessons learned documents. Qualifications & Experience A Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field is required. Must have 3+ years of experience in project management, program implementation, or operations. Experience working with schools, NGOs, and corporate sponsors is a significant advantage. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other project management tools is essential. Demonstrated strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills. Leadership: A willingness to grow into a leadership role within the company.
