About the position
Postion Summary:
The National Research Foundation (NRF) seeks to make an appointment for the position of Administrator: Projects and Team, who will report to the Senior Manager: Planning, Monitoring Evaluations and Policies (PMEP) within the Digital Transformation Division
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to provide and obtain relevant information to support the team Ensure submission and approval of the PMEP reports, policies and plans to oversight structures and authorities Assist with administration and quality assurance procedures for the development of plans, reports and other documents Establish and manage the repository of departmental data and documents in line with departmental procedures Assist with budgeting, supply chain, human resources, traveling of PMEP team and additionally, provide support for the office of the Senior ManagerSupport the PMEP team with project initiation, monitoring and records Support the team in documenting identifying and managing risks that may have an impact on departmental objectives and project deliverySupport the team in preparing PowerPoint presentations for meetings and workshops run by the PMEP departmentMaintain a file of the due process, policies portal and update Policy Index for policy development and maintenance
- Provide logistic support, record, draft and facilitate approval of minutes for Committees Meetings
- Facilitate communication of final NRF Policies and related decisions through appropriate channels and platforms accessible to the target audience
Minimum Qualification:
- Diploma / Advanced Certificate / NQF 6
Minimum Experience:
- National Diploma or Advanced Certificate in project management or business administration or related field (NQF 6)3 Years’ experience in an administrative or project management role providing support to teams or multiple stakeholders

- Good understanding of Public sector legal requirements pertaining to Supply Chain Management (SCM), PFMA, National Treasury Instructions
- Awareness of functions in corporate governance viz
- Risk, Compliance, Performance and Policy Management, Planning and Monitoring
