About the position
A leading multi-disciplinary consulting firm is seeking to appoint a Professional Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will form part of a dynamic Quantity Surveying Department and work closely with Architecture, Engineering, and Project Management teams across a diverse portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities:
Cost Planning & Estimating
- Review and evaluate design documentation and project requirements.
- Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates for projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies, viability assessments, and cost planning exercises.
- Prepare damage costings and determine value-at-risk assessments where required.
Contract Documentation & Procurement
- Compile Bills of Quantities and contract documentation.
- Assist with procurement processes and tender documentation.
- Conduct financial evaluation and analysis of tenders.
- Support contract negotiations and procurement strategies.
Cost Management & Contract Administration
- Administer project cash flow forecasts and cost reports.
- Prepare valuations, variation orders, and contractual claims.
- Monitor project expenditure and cost control measures.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate final accounts.
- Ensure contractual compliance throughout project lifecycles.
Project Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
- Attend client, consultant, and project meetings.
- Liaise and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Quantity Surveyors.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Provide professional cost and commercial advice throughout project delivery.
Requirements:
- BTech or BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Professional Registration as a [URL Removed] is essential.
- Minimum 4-5 years post-registration experience within a Quantity Surveying environment.
- Experience of up to 6-10 years will be advantageous.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
