About the Role
To supervise and coordinate daily production activities during assigned shifts, ensuring that food products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards, food safety regulations, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Production Management
- Oversee daily production operations to meet production
- Ensure efficient use of machinery, equipment, and
- Monitor production lines to minimize downtime and
- Coordinate with planning and warehouse teams for raw material
Team Supervision
- Lead, motivate, and manage production staff on
- Allocate tasks and monitor employee
- Provide training and guidance to team
- Ensure discipline, attendance, and adherence to company
Quality Control & Food Safety
- Ensure products meet quality standards and
- Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and food safety
- Conduct routine inspections and address quality issues
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards on the production
Health & Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety
- Conduct safety checks and enforce use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Report and investigate incidents or
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate production records
- Track productivity, waste, and
- Report issues, deviations, and performance metrics to
Equipment & Maintenance
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and
- Ensure proper cleaning and upkeep of
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce
- Implement process improvements and support lean manufacturing
- Participate in audits and compliance
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 123 - 5 years relevant experience in supervisory management in food manufacturingComputer Literate
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management
- Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO).
- Good problem-solving and decision-making
- Strong communication and organizational
- Ability to work under pressure and meet
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, production systems).
