About the position
My client based in Bellville (Northern Suburbs) is currently looking for a Product Manager to join them on a permanent basis
IT / Finance
Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Conduct market research to identify customer pain points and industry trends
- Collaborate with clients, operations and sales and marketing to develop solutions
- Prioritize features based on business impact and customer feedback
- Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to deployment
- Ensure software solutions align with business objectives and user needs
Experience
- 4-6 years of product management experience with a proven track record of leading product features from concept to launch
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is preferred
- Experience working with accounting software and fruit accounting
- Experience in customer-facing roles, delivering products that meet market demands and drive business impact
- Ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple product features and initiatives
- Strong background in analysing market trends, customer feedback, and competitive dynamics to guide product decisions
Competencies
- Experience in software product management or related roles
- Has technical product knowledge and specific domain expertise
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of software development processes and technologies
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
