Principle Oracle Functional Consultant (LW)

About the position

• Support the unit in fulfilling its mandate of providing support for the Oracle financial suite of modules throughout the company.


• High focus on the asset life cycle value chain and ensuring accuracy in underlying data


• Facilitating new enhancements and demands from business units as and when the need arises and ensuring that solutions deployed are fit-for-purpose and optimal.


• Be a trusted advisor to the business on best-of-breed financial processes from an Oracle perspective and align business requirements and solutions accordingly.


• Take accountability for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of the solutions for the business, including training where applicable, and ensure that solutions implemented are innovative.

Minimum Requirements:

Education

• A tertiary qualification (NQF6), degree (NQF7) in the field of specialisation OR equivalent industry-specific certifications AND


• Minimum 8 years’ experience in application analysis/architecture and/or design and/or enterprise architecture and/or solutions architecture.


• A postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.


• Oracle certification, both for on-prem and cloud, would be an advantage.
