About the position
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Principal Networking Client Partner to lead strategic networking and managed services sales initiatives. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, driving the identification, development, and closure of complex networking, cloud-managed services, and outsourcing opportunities. This role requires a strong combination of networking expertise, commercial acumen, and consultative selling capability to deliver solutions aligned to client business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive managed services, networking, and outsourcing sales opportunities across enterprise accounts.
- Develop and execute client engagement strategies to identify new opportunities, cross-sell, and upsell services.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding business challenges and translating them into technology solutions.
- Partner with Client Managers, pre-sales architects, and delivery teams to design competitive solutions.
- Lead solution positioning across networking, cloud, infrastructure, and managed services offerings.
- Build and maintain executive-level stakeholder relationships within client organisations.
- Develop competitive win strategies, proposals, commercial models, and sales plans.
- Manage sales pipelines, forecasts, opportunity progression, and deal closure.
- Support contract negotiations, commercial discussions, and multi-year service agreements.
- Collaborate with delivery teams post-sale to ensure successful implementation and identify future opportunities.
- Drive long-term client retention, renewals, and strategic account growth.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience selling managed services, networking solutions, or IT outsourcing services.
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets within large enterprise environments.
- Experience engaging with senior business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of networking technologies and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Experience developing and closing complex, multi-year technology deals.
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value and outcomes.
- Strong negotiation, commercial modelling, and account management skills.
- Understanding of financial metrics and business drivers influencing technology decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Sales, or related field (or equivalent experience).
